This machine doesn’t work anymore
The engine remains empty
Yet the gas tank keeps begging for more
The mechanic knows his job well
Yet the machine keeps resisting the improvements
The engine is begging for more
Yet the gas tank is doing the receiving.
The engine head leaks nightly til there is no more fluid
within
Warning bells ring over and over to show something wrong
The mechanic keeps working patiently
Yet the machine still resists the changes
Before the machine completely falls apart
For the mechanic to really get through
The machine has got to accept the changes
No matter how very hard they are.
